Having variety of color in uniforms would not present a whole community at once. Paying is a separate matter to consider but if choice of color is given then an irregularity is depicted which breaks the sense of communism, unity and oneness.

College uniforms you say.
Would be nice, but then again there will be many who will not like it.

Personally it would probably eliminate the status look, when you look at other people who are latest in fashion.

For me to accept school/college uniforms, then it has to be a variety of them. Cannot only be blue or whatever color the school picks.
They should make: blue, red, green, black, and all of the major colors teenagers and adults use. Then you can pick your own color to wear to school regularly. But for students to get what they want they have to pay for their uniforms.
Want a green one? Pay 50 bucks. something like that, but it will probably be in the 199 to 299 dollar range.

Thats my view on school uniforms.
